Hayden Adams is the founder and inventor of Uniswap, one of the most widely used decentralized applications built on Ethereum and the world’s leading DeFi DEX. Uniswap is a protocol that allows anyone to swap any two tokens without intermediaries, fees, or censorship.

Adams is a self-taught software engineer and blockchain enthusiast involved in the cryptocurrency space since 2017. He was inspired by a research paper by Vitalik Buterin to create Uniswap as a proof-of-concept. He launched the first version of Uniswap in 2018 with the help of a grant from the Ethereum Foundation. Since then, he has led the development and innovation of Uniswap, launching the second and third versions in 2020 and 2021 respectively.

Adams is a strong advocate for decentralization and transparency in finance. He believes that DeFi offers novel levels of control and risk management for users, as well as more efficient and inclusive markets.
