Andre Cronje is a DeFi developer, innovator, and blockchain visionary. He is the creator of yearn.finance, one of the most influential protocols in the DeFi space. He also founded Keep3rV1, a decentralized job platform, and Solidly Exchange, a cross-chain liquidity aggregator, and is involved in other DeFi projects such as SushiSwap, Cream Finance, Cover Protocol, and Akropolis.

Cronje joined the Fantom Foundation as a technical advisor in 2018, where he helped develop a fast, scalable, and secure platform for smart contracts. In 2022, he became a director of both Fantom Foundation Ltd and Fantom Operations Ltd.

He launched yearn.finance in 2020, a protocol that automates yield farming and optimizes returns for DeFi users. The protocol’s governance token, YFI, became one of the most valuable and sought-after tokens, reaching a peak price of over $95,000 in May 2021.
