The company’s four-day interactive event titled ‘Feel the Speed’ was held at the Yayasan Complex from December 28 to 31, 2022. The event saw the participation of over nine exclusive partners and vendors.
The purpose of this grand event was to give the public a hands-on experience of 5G connectivity and high-speed data with some thrilling activities. These included Apex Racing’s F1 Racing Simulator Experience, Cycle Nation’s Zwift Cycle, Game On’s FIFA Tournament, and The Gold Club’s Golf Simulator Experience.
The event also introduced a range of 5G-ready devices, exclusively available at Progresif. During the event, the company also offered 6GB of free data for new and port-in prepaid and postpaid customers.
A gaming bundle including gaming chairs, PC bundles, and peripherals from Tech Haven was among the many things offered during the event. Chong Hock Computers helped their customers try out the latest in their VR technology by setting up a virtual reality (VR) experience in their booth.
Hjh Nurul Haniah Hj Jaafar, the CEO of Progresif, gave some interesting insights into the future of telecommunications in her opening remarks. She added that the event would allow the public to experience what 5G connectivity can offer upon its launch in Brunei.
She also shared her excitement about all the great things that the company and its partners had planned for the public. In its efforts to study the reliability and capability of 5G connectivity, Progresif has been conducting consumer 5G trials. Although such trials were done in selected areas of Brunei, they have shown promising results.
