NFT NYC 2023, the leading convention for Web3, blockchain projects, and NFTs, kicked off last week at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Over 1,000 industry professionals and 10,000 visitors assembled, eager to uncover the next Bored Ape Yacht Club and other groundbreaking projects, games, and brands. With participants keen on engaging with these innovations early on, anticipation was high for the continued growth of the space and the potential for the next “bull run.”
Despite the excitement, this year’s convention appeared to lack the same level of innovation and exhibitor enthusiasm as the previous year. The exceptions were the exceptional art pieces displayed by independent artists on countless screens and the standout company, “m00m world.” This innovative enterprise attracted attention with its vibrant booth and intriguing mission, drawing a steady flow of visitors and collectors eager to engage with the project’s founder and representatives.
During my 10-minute conversation with the founder, who chose to remain anonymous under the moniker “Geographic,” I learned about m00m’s ambitious mission: “to build the sci-fi empire of tomorrow through worldwide decentralized collaboration.” This captivating concept was evident in the project’s booth, which was swarming with curious attendees asking questions, taking selfies, and attempting to win unique branded physical collectibles from a Japanese-style prize machine.

Geographic expanded on the vision for m00m, explaining that he and his partner “BLAM” are creating “an entire world that starts as a science fiction audio series, app, and brand, built and shaped through the help of democratic participation and voting by the community.” As the project evolves, it aims to create a comprehensive world that encompasses an animated series and a laid-back virtual environment where community members can reside, collaborate, and contribute to m00m’s growth and desires to shape community-driven modern pop culture.
To me, it was clear that the project was resonating with the crowd; the buzz around the booth was palpable, reflecting the flow of visitors and collectors eager to engage with Geographic’s vision for m00m and its mission of “building the sci-fi empire of tomorrow through worldwide decentralized collaboration.”

This innovative approach to blending technology, art, and community-driven development could be the key to standing out in the ever-growing and competitive NFT and Web3 landscape. m00m’s dedication to building a brand powered by global collaboration may be just what the industry needs to propel it forward. In an uncertain market, m00m has the potential to be the catalyst that drives mass adoption and ushers in a new era of digital creativity and collaboration.
Geographic and his partner BLAM both boast impressive backgrounds in brand building and working on famous Hollywood movies, with additional assistance from their Director of Communications, “The Lion of Web3”, who has a proven track record in the NFT space, recently joining m00m after leaving his position at “KILLABEARS”, one of Web3’s most successful NFT projects. Together, Geographic and BLAM contribute in-depth knowledge, abilities, and flavors to the web3 conversation that set up the potential for m00m’s success and set it apart from the competition.
