Visa, the multinational corporation facilitating payments, has a new Country Manager for Brunei and Singapore: Adeline Kim.
Having already worked at Visa for more than ten years in various leadership roles, Adeline is aware of the workings of Visa’s ecosystem. Some of her previous leadership roles at the company included Head of Consumer Solutions for Asia Pacific and Head of Products and Solutions for Southeast Asia.
Adeline’s insightful and deep knowledge of the company’s products, business, and strategy put her at an advantage in bringing Visa’s regional presence to new heights. Before being made Country Manager for Brunei and Singapore, she was Head of Data Solutions for Asia Pacific and based out of Singapore.
She picks up the baton from Kunal Chatterjee and is quite excited about her new role. “I look forward to working with our clients, fintechs, and regulator to expand more usage and acceptance for digital payments and ensure that consumers and businesses can pay and be paid seamlessly and efficiently,” Adeline says.
Adeline’s illustrative work background started at Singapore Tourism Board, where she began her career journey. Before joining Visa, she was at the helm of other firms as well, including United Overseas Bank and Citibank Singapore.
Visa’s Group Country Manager for Regional Southeast Asia, Serene Gay, believes Adeline is uniquely positioned to lead the team and support Visa’s clients as the company strives to deliver on its purpose to uplift everyone everywhere by being the best way to pay and be paid.
“We are thrilled to have Adeline join our team as the Country Manager for Singapore & Brunei. She brings a great depth of industry experience and is a proven leader who has strong relationships with many of our clients and employees in the market,” says Serene.
