Media mogul and well-known publicist Cory Chamberlain recently launched Califatcat Magazine, a news, and entertainment publication.
The founder of Califatcat lived in both the media city of Los Angeles and the media metropolis of New York City, which is one of the reasons why the company mixes the laid-back feel of Southern California with the media prowess of Manhattan. Unapologetic in its coverage of everything from important news and business to entertainment and the arts, Califatcat covers it all round-the-clock. Chamberlain was given the nickname “Califatcat” by many of the clients for whom he worked as a publicist. This was a title that Chamberlain believed belonged more in a magazine than it did with him.
Those with talent can achieve anything, and Chamberlain believes that everyone deserves a chance to succeed. As well as being a chief editor and founder of Califatcat Magazine, he is also the editor and co-founder of MusicallyMilked, which covers news from the music industry, new and emerging artists, and any juicy entertainment and music news the magazine dubs “Milky Content.”
The media expert wants to build a name for himself that is both well-known and respected. He based his work on Steve Jobs’ assertion that “A chance to make a memory is the essence of brand marketing.” Ace Pacific, a media agency, gave Chamberlain his first taste of digital media, offering businesses, celebrities, and TV and podcast networks a platform to tell their stories. In Chamberlain’s words, “Companies compete within social media focused on paid advertising, but they should be pitching their stories to anyone that will listen, like top-tier publications, TV guest appearances, and more.”
Throughout his reign in media, his company Ace Pacific has developed unique relationships with a variety of media outlets whom he has leveraged for years, providing newsworthy stories and cutting-edge breaking news while giving his clients viral moments, which they can use as real testimonials or real organic content.
Building credibility is a tried-and-true formula for securing early investment and leaving a lasting impression on potential backers for many startups. Potential backers need assurances that a project’s internet buzz is real and reliable and that an established expert is evaluating a promising new venture that has been thoroughly vetted.
California Cat’s motto is “Your Voice Your Choice.” Based on the fundamental god given principle that you have the right to empower yourself to be heard and to push yourself beyond your own limitations. The motto also describes true objective journalism, which allows all contributors, journalists, and writers the freedom to be heard and not judged. With “Cancel Culture” policies restricting content, Califatcat wants all points of view to be heard in a move to bring people together. Chamberlain adds, “The truth shall set you free, and if we promote a healthy dialogue through the magazine, everybody wins.”
Social media and digital media are the focus of billions of eyes, and a healthy civilization craves new and fresh content. News media pioneers have been and will continue to be a source of information bringing people together everywhere.
