The Brunei MSME Festival is all set to return after a hiatus of three years at Bridex International Conference Center, Jerudong, from Thursday, March 16 to Sunday, March 19, 2023. Over 200 exhibitors will be joining the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB)’s much-awaited event in association with Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) that brings together 190 local businesses as well as various flagship programmes of 21 national agencies of Brunei Darussalam.
The event will showcase exhibitors in six major categories, namely:
1. Food services
2. Food manufacturing
3. Handicraft, fashion, and textiles
4. Healthcare and beauty
5. Home and lifestyle
6. Services sector.
In addition to the exhibitor showcase, Brunei MSME Festival will also organise 20 business seminars focussed on the exchange of business opportunities and strategies, and innovation in the Sultanate.
The four-day event will kickstart with a conference on this year’s theme – ‘Dare to Innovate: Growth & Resilience through Innovation.’ The conference aims to gather local and international experts from the public, private, and academic sectors. The focus of this event will be to explore ways in which businesses, especially micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Brunei, can effectively utilise innovation to maintain, expand, and enhance their resilience.
